Join the Poppy Project and help create the million poppy banner for Remembrance Day. This free workshop will teach you to crochet a poppy to add to the banner. All supplies provided.

About the event
In this 2 hour workshop, local Poppy Project leader, Martha Collins, will provide step-by-step instructions on how to crochet poppies. All supplies provided. At the end of the workshop you will have made one poppy and have the supplies and knowledge to take home and complete more.
Completed poppies are then added to the poppy banners by museum volunteers. The banners are displayed at the Osoyoos Remembrance Day ceremony held at Sonora Community Centre on November 11. Already know how to crochet? No problem. Join the fun and crochet away!
